Fiddleback Friday 10/19/12

I think you are right "mistwalker", I have not seen a 5/32 either actually!
"CapitalizedLiving", I agree, 1/8 is the way to go for the most part ...

I have a bushcraft knife that was made in England by Mick Spain. It's a nice knife, and a near clone of the Woodlore, that is a scandi in 5/32 O-1. It has the potential to be a better "survival" knife due to the potential for more lateral strength, but it's definitely not a better slicer or carver than Andy's 1/8 scandis, and yes it is a little more work to sharpen.

Andy, thanks for taking my post about the wood lust with a sense of humor.

I suppose variety is the spice of life, I just miss seeing the classic wood handles thats all.

Anyway on another note,

If this knife has white liners then something is wrong with my computer! Looks blue!

2012 1019 014 – Recluse, Natural canvas over black with a white liner. Tapered Tang, Convex on 5/32” 01 - $250

Damn!! I wanted that 3 finger Karda. I also want to get one of your Bird & Trout knives.

payment sent. Thanks Andy. Can I put in a request for some hidden tang Hb's? Thanks again.

Hey Grafton, you were right. I couldn't log into Fotki to post this pic all weekend, and get to work to check the knife, and its liner is blue. Good eye. Sorry I doubted you. LOL.
