Fiddleback Friday - 2/15/13

Andy,
I will take the 2013 0215 10 – Hunter, Cofeebag Burlap micarta with black canvas liners and bolsters, Convex on 5/32” thick 01 steel - $300 if it is still available. Thanks , Guido

Guido, nice snag on the hunter. I never thought burlap would look so great with a bolster...but it's awesome. Hope to see more burlap and bolster combos in the future. It would look great on a camp knife, too!

 I checked that one out a few times myself. Great looking knife.

Thanks guys -- I have been waiting for a hunter for a long time and this one is really special. Nice work Andy!

Those camp knives look like they would be fun to use! To the lucky buyers: please post lots of photos after you receive them!

ditto on the camp knives. I had a snarky comment queued up at about 11:45, but realized that the real issue was that I was snoozing an thus loosing. Anyway, I finally got my BL Chopper, so I figure at least the Camp knife is still being made....

Great batch and glad to see the "bolster" type handle come back...

Seconds on

2013 0215 07 – Kephart, Black on Black canvas with a lime green pinstripe, Full Tang, Scandi on 1/8” thick steel - $225

If you have a change of mind!!!

I'll take the:
2013 0215 08 Bushfinger OD Canvas over Natural Canvas with a white pinstripe, Convex on 5/32" Thick 01 steel

Stainless Steel Daggergrinds. This is two knives, the new fighting knife, which I intend to call the Sneaky Pete, and a daggerground Bushboot. The steel here is CPM 154, and the tangs are tapered.

It's been thirty years since I had a real need for such a blade, but man I really like the looks of the Sneaky Pete, I have a great deal of respect for the guys that carried that nickname. That dagger ground Bushboot is intriguing.

Greetings!

This is my first fiddleback friday. If one wanted to claim one of the knives...what's the next step? I see some have posted here. Is that to let other's know? If you post here that you want to buy one, are you contacted by Andy or someone at Fiddleback??? or do we have to send a message to Andy as well as posting here? Sorry if I missed an instruction post...thanks for your time!
