Yea, I just now learned that Model Standard is code name for "as awesome a knife that I have ever made in this model/configuration." Hoping I am as surprised with this late pickup as I was last week on the late Wasp grab.

Yes. It is stabilized and dyed Ash. Its gorgeous wood. I use a lot of it when I can find it.

Here is my roller coaster of emotions by page:
Page 1 - complete awe. Both Andrew (and now Kenny) are clearly showing off! I was drawn to the Drunken Burlap Bushfinger. The mad rush search begins! Page 1: clear
Page 2 - clear! How is that possible?!
Page 3 - CLEAR! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!
Page 4 - oh yeah! So far so good.......DOUBLE DONKEY PUNCH!!! It's GONE!
Lol! I've been down this road too many times. Well done Fiddleback crew. You guys continue to amaze. I'm gonna be back next week, just like always.

There were two weeks in a row where hunters did not go, and I couldn't pull the trigger. Then, when I decided to go for the next hunter I saw, gone in 60 seconds. Bummer man. I've been looking for a hunter in koa (dreaming actually). Very nice, I'll have to be faster next time.

Also, the KPH stands for Kismet's Practical Hunter. Although perhaps it's perfect too, if such a thing is possible. It was designed by Kismet here on the forums, and I believe is also made by Himalayan Imports.

Nice to know someone is thinking of me.
I was hosting a work event all afternoon and just got home, so no chance to ride the Fiddleback rollercoaster today. I do want another Big Sneaky, but I want one with a bolster and fancy wood, so I wasn't upset to miss the Burlap. If it had been black ash burl with a contrasting bolster and butt cap, I'd probably be clawing my eyes out by now. It just keeps getting better from FF.
With most things gone within 2-3 minutes of Andy posting these days, though, I might have to re-adjust my expectations of buying another Fiddleback until I am able to become a man of leisure. Anyone know an eligible heiress who's not too hard on the eye?

I'd also just like to recognize Andy's kind words at the beginning of the thread and say that I am really enjoying being here. I fell in love with knives as a kid and to be a part of making them now is a wonderful feeling. So, Andy, thanks to you too.
