I have a Raptor in 3/32, which is a cutting fiend. But the handle on this one is just spectacular. I did want to try this in this configuration. The Wharncliffe blade I find to be very good at certain tasks, and sometimes the 3/32 width gives me pause to a attempt some of them due to the thin blade. But the burl on this example was the major draw for me. I am really that shallow.
Oh, I don't know about that. If asked to make a list of words that describe you from the conversations we've had, and I've read, shallow would not have been in the list
That burl is gorgeous!
