Hmmmmmm????
Femme Fatale=confusion. In the video, Robert presented it as a 3 finger handle. The specs say overall length is 7.5 inches, with the blade being 3.5 inches long, so the handle calculates to 4 inches. However, the actual video presents it differently. Because of that, I held off. Am I confused??
Thanks Andy for the clarification, I am more comfortable with four fingers grip,(that FF is gorgeous though..! considering for my wife.)Looking for future Shank maybe 5/32 ,8670.Its a 3 finger handle for sure. Its easy to conceal.
That Chief is very well appointed, a stand out!
Femme Fatale with her new sheath is on her way as a special gift to my wonderful wife, she is elated... Thanks to all the great good people at FBF![]()
I decided to fancy up the Chief line a couple weeks ago. That line is normally reserved for less fancy scales...congrats to the new ownerMissed the fun yesterday but took a peek today to see what I missed. Always a double edged sword of an approach!
Had to comment on that Chief. I agree: ". . . very well appointed . . . . " Stunningly clothed. I do not recall having seen anything like that combo before, and I think this charcoal/black/gray set off by the royal blue stripes "is both distinctive and bold in a subtle manner." A Shaman or Emperor (as well as a Scout, Recluse, Ladyfinger . . . . ) would look amazing with such clothes (and would be an immediate sale)!
I also have to point out Amy's Cobra as a wonderful example of her work. Took me a while to really start looking at and truly appreciating her work with a critical eye. Once I did, I saw a subtle but very distinctive design philosophy, at once practical and beautiful in the sense of form faithfully following function. Not easy to achieve such distinctive, related, and unified elements of design early-ish in a career without becoming impractical (or even silly). I believe it obvious that she has accomplished this. In fact, I am so moved of late by her work that I purchased her Moray a few weeks ago and it is already one of my favorites. The photos did her no justice (and she looks pretty darn good in the pics). A "basic" clip point camp knife of sublime quality and hand feel. One definitely has to hold it and use it to understand just how good it is. Definitely a case of the whole being greater then the sum of the individual elements. At some point going to have to score one like this Cobra as well!
