Fiddleback Friday - 9/6/13

You got the OD handled Woodchuck then Daniel. Thank You!

Of course another stunning batch. Two weeks in a row my power to resist temptation has been put to the test. The CPM154 Bushfingers are begging to live in the Deep South. This one in particular was especially hard to resist:

2013 0906 007 – Bushfinger, Stabilized Maple Burl jover black g10 with a lime green g10 pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 5/32” thick steel - $315

So much so I began wondering if there was a trade-in policy..lol. I love my Bushfinger yet I feel it would benefit from CPM 154 if not just for user convenience.

I still often think of a CPM154 EDC in wood (the Ash is awesome). Looks like a good multi-purpose blade for hunter use etc.

I may have to own both one day. Oh, and I haven't forgot about the sausage Andy. Got a tip on some insulated shipping boxes from my wife's work. I'm still on that project...

Andy,

I'll take 2013 0906 010 – Kephart, Maroon linen over natural canvas with a white g10 pinstripe, Tapered Tang, Convex on 5/32” thick steel - $290 if it is still available.

You got it Taonari. Thank You!!

Very nice batch of beautiful bladeware as always Andy! Really liking those Woodchucks a lot man! That tuxedo Hiking Buddy looks fantastic. After watching the little one trying to cut yellow squash with the Woodsman when we were cooking last night I'm thinking something along those lines of size and the 3/32 thickness may be the way I go for her. I thought about the Karda for a minute, it's made like a small Woodsman sort of :), but I think she needs a blade long enough to span the diameter of yellow squash at least :)

I'll take the other Hiking Buddy - 2013 0906 02 – Hiking Buddy, Tuxedo, Tapered Tang, Convex on 3/32” thick 01 -$240

Really nice score, that one looks great, and damn I love that grind!

Thanks Mistwalker. I can't wait to try out that full height grind on a 3/32” blade.
