Fiddleback Friday More Stellar Maple

Andy,

I'm a bit overwhelmed and humbled by your generous gesture. There are so many other men and women who have made far greater sacrifices than I have done. I really appreciate your sentiment and support.
This knife will of course have a special place in my home, but don't worry it will get carried and used. Thank you so very much.

Everyone,

Thank you for your support! It's very thoughtful of you all and I appreciate the sentiment greatly. I spoke with a Vietnam Vet the other day who expressed a sense of being healed by the outpouring of public support for the military, support that most of the warriors of their generation, my father's generation, never experienced. You all have made a difference. Now go cut something!

Leah's dad is a Vietnam Vet, and he lives withus for 8 or so months of the year. (Winter won't work for him here.) I get a happy feeling when I show my support for our vets and tropps, and police and firemen, etc. I feel like its the least I can do.

Hello Andy,

I recieved the Bushfinger. What a treat to have a sample of your craftsmanship in hand. Now I know what all the fuss is about!

The knife is a wonderful example of the principle that form follows function. And it has been wrought so elegantly, from tip to butt.

I look forward to using it.

Thanks,

Matt

Thank you Matt. I'm glad you like your knife. Use it! I want to see it all dirty when you post pics!
