Fiddleback Friday - New Model!

Ok, now that I almost hurt myself and beat the crap out of the keyboard staking my claim, and made it , I can relax and say the rest of it. I think that Bloodwood is going to be a perfect earthy color to both compliment and contrast the colors I am going to be working with in a LOT of photographs. Man I'm so stoked!

The Bloodwood is gorgeous. Its what was on the KPH I bought for my nephew. It screams for a RLo Sheath!

Thanks man, I think so too! It is gorgeous! It's not a color that occurs naturally here but is a nice earthy color that will both contrast with and compliment the colors I'll be working with very well I think.

Yep, I had been thinking about the bloodwood very hard and wondered if any of the small knives would be in that finish this week. When I saw it my heart paused a sec and I knew it was the one.

Anyway, great stuff. The knife I've been waiting for just got snagged.

Not mislabeled now at least. Damn, it sucks when that happens. I was determined not to miss mine if it popped up today.

When I saw the Bushboots, I knew one of 'em was headed to Tn. Thought it might be the 1/8", but the bloodwood handle is super.

Great batch Andy! I'm really liking the work on the new model.

I actually hesitated there for a minute, but then in a moment of clarity remembered that the shadows in the greenery in this temperate rain forest can be really dark and so the bloodwood would be perfect to stand out against the shadows and the greens. Besides I really like the 5/32 anyway .

Really glad I got mine when I did. It was somewhat comical, I damn near pushed the key board off the back of its tray and it got all hung up.

Nice score man, that thing is going to be a heck of a slicer! I'm really looking forward to mine. Not only is it going to be perfect for the photo projects it's going to be the perfect elegant type of knife for the picnics on the side of the river downtown with my wife with a Kleen Kanteen karath of wine, and some nice cheese, summer sausage, and crackers

I hadn't seen a straight Karda on the Friday sale list since I started coming to the Friday festival of Fiddleback Goodness and it was simply calling out to me -- I hope Andy sprinkles more of this model into his weekly line up and maybe re-introduces the 3 Finger Karda as well.
