Fiddleback Friday - New Model!

How in the world has nobody purchased that Bacote Bushcrafter?! Those scales are amazing...and the spalted 01 with that grind is perfect.
 
Everyone is giddy like schoolgirls. Now comes the wait, oh so long. So you cone back and look at your knife. Make it a wallpaper, background, etc. I'm so jealous
 
Andy, by my count that's eleven gone in one day, but I still got my shoes on so my math could be wrong. :D Dude I told you this morning they'd go quick! I wish I could have bought them all, but then I'd have to live in your shop so I didn't start leaking fluid from all the holes my better half would have made with them! Oh yeah, I think next time I "pop" by I'll hit my siren or lights or something just in case your holding something other than your phone.:eek: Bet you were awake after that - Sorry Dude, see you next week sometime.

I know that feeling, I had resisted temptation for months. But I had been wanting something like that Bushboot for more than two years. I remember the first time I asked you what that model was called, and I loved it then. Then over the last while I have been doing more studies in areas where a small knife with class and style became increasingly more desirable. The projects started converging at roughly the same time your tapered tangs became more readily available. All resistance failed a few weeks ago and I had just been waiting on the one that spoke to me. I had a gut feeling that woke me up yesterday morning and I was right. That bloodwood Bushboot is exactly what I had been wanting. I am extremely stoked, and really looking forward to it.

That bocote does look amazing with that blue pin stripe. I'm wondering what a Recluse with a black bolster, bocote wood, and a blue pin stripe would look like.

That bocote does look amazing with that blue pin stripe. I'm wondering what a Recluse with a black bolster, bocote wood, and a blue pin stripe would look like.

Um....the Recluse in that configuration would be amazing! Mist...you sending your Bushboot into Rick for some custom pants? If so, what did you have in mind for carry configuration?

Ricks going to be making the sheath yes. Well, this one is going to be spending as much time in an urban environment as in the woods so I am needing something that rides high and is easier to be discrete with in nicer restaurants :)

Andy that kephart with kirinite might be my favorite knife aesthetically speaking I have seen in a very long time. I am highly disappointed I didn't get to snatch that one up. I hope you will make more with this handle combination in the future.
 
I bought a bunch of Kirinite on Friday. This knife sold me on it.

That's how I felt about the natural canvas arête with the orange pinstripe.
Dammit! Lol
