As always, my first priority is to thank all of you. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.

Welcome to the Friday the 13th Fiddleback Friday posting. This week I am going to release another offshoot in the Sneaky Pete family, and have a lot of knives from that part of the line to offer. The new knife is called the Scorpion. You have already guessed that it has a 4” blade and a 4.5” handle, but what sets it apart from every other knife in my line is how slim it is. I love making slivers of steel and this is a light fast stabbing knife.

The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with Rick Lowe and Heber Ellsworth for my sheaths. The make beautiful sheaths that really compliment my work. I appreciate your support for them as well.

The steel this week is 3D Spalted 01 steel and CPM 154 with Fiddleback Textured Flats.

Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.

Attention!!! The paypal address is: fiddlebackpayments at att dot net. Please describe your purchase in the payment notes.

Shipping is included within the US. Ken has taken over the shipping department and we are going to be setting up a special e-mail address for all questions or concerns regarding shipping. I’ll give that out when the new website is launced.

The Sneaky Pete Family of knives From Fiddleback Forge consists of four models. They are so different, but they all share a curvey hand fitting appeal. Three have been released to date, but you can see the pattern for the 4th, the Big Sneaky in the pic below of the four patterns together. The first of the Big Sneaky’s will debut next week.

This week’s new knife is the Scorpion. The scorpion is a fast moving stiletto style fixed blade knife made for soft tissue thrusts. It is light and fast and beautiful.

Last week I introduced the Asp. Same length as the Sneaky Pete, but slimmed down, and mean pointy.

Finally a pic of a very pretty Sneaky Pete from this week’s batch. Folks, this knife locks into your grip and is very comfortable to hold in lots of hand positions. It’s a joy to use for bushcrafting and kitchen cutting.

This last pic shows the three current models all together for some scale. They are the Sneaky Pete, the Asp, and the Scorpion. I gotta tell y’all that these are so fun for me to make, and I’ve been carrying and using the Sneaky Pete for a while, and love it in action as well.
