Awesome, thanks for changing the criteria Whitty.

My first and favorite Fiddleback was/is a 16" Machete I purchased on an impulse from USA Made Blade! A couple of days after receiving it, I broke about .5mi of virgin trail to an abandoned cemetery my wife wanted to explore; I've never had a more enjoyable time clearing brush. The ergonomics on the machete are ideal, making it fast, aggressive, and comfortable. I recently held a friend's Gerber machete to compare...let's just say it didn't.

After having now handled a FF knife as well, my favorite thing about Fiddlebacks is the thought that goes into handle design.

Here's a post with the machete in one of Heber's fantastic machete sheaths (which he had on my door within a week!).

Thanks Whitty for lowering the post count! I love my Bushfinger because it is an extremely functional piece of art, lots of knives cut, lots of knives look good, but I can't think of very many that blend the two so seamlessly. There's another thing about them that I find really amazing, the community that comes with them, when you buy a Fiddleback you become part of a club and though I haven't been around for long from what I can see they take care of their own. This above all else is why I think Fiddlebacks are so special!

Although I'm not qualified, really appreciate your generosity!
Always taking care of your customers!
Thank you!

Come to find out I am qualified, thanks Scott!
The ergonomics and craftsmanship have drawn me to Fiddlebacks.
Just love the execution of the handles and love seeing different handle materials and options.
My favorite Fiddleback would have to be my very first, the Hunter.

I have to choose just one?
I guess it would have to be the Nessmuk. I love the way it looks, and it excels at seemingly every task. great skinner, kitchen knife, the whole shebang. the Sneaky Pete is a close second though.
Thanks for the opportunity Whitty!
Hope my photo counts.

Edit: my mind made up seperate rules. I love fiddlebacks because they just feel right! The ergonomics are insane, they become a part of your arm somehow. They are also gorgeous and have excellent fit and finish. They cut things well too! The heat treat is good and they are in a good steel, not just following trends. Also Andy and crew, and the people who frequent the forum and are attracted to his work are all stand up guys! It is a pleasure to witness and sometimes participate in!

Ergonomics, craftmanship and the fact that it is run by dedicated hard working people.
Thank you for the opportunity.

Wow Scott, this is a very generous deal!

What do I like about Fiddleback Forge Knives? Simple, all models are an expertly made tool that excel at their given task and look amazing!

My favorite Fiddleback:

A spalted maple burl Kephart, purchased from yourself (no suckup intended).

You're awesome Scott! Thanks for the opportunity!

I love how Andy and team really create perfection with every one of their pieces. I've never held a fiddleback I didn't think was perfectly made.

Oh yah, They're MADE IN AMERICA!!!

Here's my favorite at the moment. CPM154 Big Paw!

I'm in ..

The first Fiddleback I bought and held it in my hand .. I was amazed by the level of detail and character. I was even more amazed at the reaction I had to own more of them and I wanted 'the whole set'! I cant narrow down my favorite to one model and config .. but a TT Sneaky Pete or a ED Karda are two of my common carries.

I love Andy's use of Box Elder Burl ..

Those look very nice. I've never been blessed to handle a Fiddleback. Perhaps this is my lucky chance?
Thanks for the opportunity.

Count me in!

I've never had the opportunity to handle a fiddleback in person, and I always seem to be just one or two minutes late calling dibs on Fiddleback Friday BUT.. I love the way Fiddleback knives look. I particularly love the look of Andy's tapered tangs, burl or dyed handles, and something about natural canvas liners just does it for me. Anyway I would also love owning that bada** sneaky peat, so thank you for this opportunity whitty!

Here are two photos of my favorite Fiddleback

Definitely in! I will admit to not currently owning one but I'm loving the perfectly high grinds lately. I like a nice scandi grind, by Fiddleback does suck a clean full grind.

My favorite would have to be the Hunter:

Thanks for this!

My favorite thing about them is that they are so perfectly crafted that they even seem to carry their own personalities. My favorite fiddleback is the first one that I bought that I thought match my personality. This guy, a bushfinger in black burlap.

Thanks for the awesome GAW!

My favorite, so far, is my Nessmuk. I'm a junkie for these things and probably have in the neighborhood of 15 different types of Muks. Andy's are a whole different breed though. Fit and finish is nothing short of stellar and the feel in the hand is as perfect as one could ask for. As a fella with small, but thick, hands my favorite part has to be the grips. His varied selection and ergonomics means I can finally find a perfect fitting knife that doesn't wear out my hands with the necessary death grip and it can look good doing the hard work. Just a hard combo to beat, especially when you follow it up with the great customer service and that beautiful spalting!

Right now since I haven't handled very many models, I'll have to say my favorite is the Runt. I bought it for an everyday pocket carry knife. It really is in a class of its own. My other small fixed blade knives fit in my pocket, but none of them look as good in my pocket as my Runt does, and none of them fit in my hand so nicely. I think it is impressive that Andy was able to take such a small handle and just make it feel right in the hand. Awesome work! Thanks Scott for the opportunity! So many people have talked about how the SP just feels amazing in hand, so I hope to have the opportunity with this one that you are giving away.

Hey Guys,
My Love of Fiddlebacks came from these forum, the Idea of a maker being actively involved in the forums and the group of people here that always help others and instruct was unreal. As soon as held my first I was hooked. My favorite is my first, a Blueback Asp in 3/16 tapered O1 in Crimson. I hope the photo will load!

I first found out about Fiddleback Forge knives from an arctcle in Tactical Knives. Then my love for them came about from Blade Forums when I found out there was a subforum for them. My favorite Fiddleback Forge knife is my Sneaky Pete. I knew when I saw it I had to have it. I love the way the handle just melts into my hand and becomes an extenstion and that's how they all feel to me.

I love that my FF knives make me want to get out in nature. No other knives have made me want to do that.

I also love that I found this community because of them. :)
