Fiddleback Giveaway from USA Made Blade

Thanks Scott for the Give Away.

It was at the beginning of 2014 that I found this Sub Forum care of Gordy and I have never left.
I have found a wonderful bunch of blokes that share their wealth of knowledge freely, it has inspired me to become a better bushcrafter and spend more time in the bush exploring nature. For this I thank you all.
My first knife an SS Bushfinger in Black Ash Burl is a stunner that I picked up from a dealer. It's beautiful lines and form and it's attention to detail had me hooked. I must have more, and so has begun my love affair for Andy Roy's knives.
My favorite to date is my Arete in 01 with lime green pinstripe and Snakewood scales.
I'm very sorry for the crappy pic it really does not do this knife justice.
Thanks again to all who make this such a wonderful place to participate, laugh and learn and of course to the Fiddleback Forge team who make this all possible.

Mick

I have never owned a Fiddleback. However I have browsed and lusted many a Fridays.
I love the design, especially the details and looks of the handles.
The craftsmanship and finish would be pretty exciting to handle!
I like their smaller edc's, since I don't have one, I grabbed a pic off the website hoping to still double my entry! (great giveaway! Thanks! Luck to all!)

Thanks Whitty, very generous of you.

I'd have to say my favorite is the Terrassaur. I've enjoyed many carving projects with it and even skinned out some deer with it. Fiddleback Forge impresses me because if Andy's attention to detail and handle designs. They are very well thought out and it shows!

As of today - I actually don't own a Fiddleback but a good friend carries a Nessmuck and I can't tell you how envious I am. These knives have a cool way of looking both new and old at the same time. Great giveaway, thanks and good luck to me!!

Please count me in. I like their designs and they look like great quality knives unfortunately don't have the dough for one of them. Don't a knife period in the $200 range. Would love to get my hands on one though. This Sneaky Pete looks like quite a beauty. Thanks for a chance.

The character and quality of the knives are outstanding but the character and quality of Andy and his whole crew are even greater. All the members who frequent here also are always awesome to interact with. Not sure I have ever experience a more awesome group of people. Thanks to all!!!

I believe this was my first new purchase of a Fiddleback and the one that really set the hook. It is my EVERY day carry! I only wish I could own the matching Arete!!!

The Bushfinger!!! Handmade product by good, hardworking people, great feel in your hand, art in tool form....

Thanks for the contest Whitty!

I can never pick a favorite anything...but this one sure gets a lot of work done and is fun to tinker with.

The reason I love Fiddlebacks is spirit: the entrepreneurial spirit that flows from the boss, the spirit of life that flows through each blade, and the spirit of camaraderie that is universal on this sub-forum. I go back to the days of Andy Roy, known modder and occasional political commenter, and have watched this forum and group grow since day 1. I only post occasionally but I'm here nearly every day. Some of the other old-timers are still around as well and there's a lot of new blood in the water. The place just gets better every week.

Thanks again Scott and to everyone for making this such a great neighborhood.

Thanks for the chance Whitty! Selling this one was a move I'll always regret, the most comfortable knife I've ever had the pleasure of holding.

Awesome GAW! Thank you. There are so many things that I love about Fiddleback Forge Knives. A lot of things I would express have already been said, so I'm going with tapered tangs and lime green pinstripes!

You are great to the knife community as usual Whitty. Thank you again for all you do.

I'm drawn to Fiddlebacks for three reasons. The designs, the people behind the designs and the community. It's always nice to know you are carrying a unique functional piece of art created by a talented group of people who stand by their product. Function wise you can spend less on production blades and do the same thing(s), but that's just boring. This is a great community as well, with helpful and entertaining discussion.

The Nessmuk is still my favorite and this one I was lucky enough to pick up from USAMadeBlade as well! I still like this photo I took a when I got it, my introduction to Fiddleback Forge knives, because I remember the big smile on my face as I unwrapped it.

What a gorgeous knife, thanks a lot for the opportunity!

I'm still on the hunt for my first Fiddleback so no hands-on experience just yet unfortunately, but I've loved the looks of Andy's knives ever since I first laid eyes on them. What made them even more interesting to me is the way the maker stands behind his product and last but not least, this great little group of people here in this subforum and the way they interact with each other. I hope to be a part of that some day.

One of my favourites I have seen come by so far is this gorgeous little Bushboot. I wish I saw it sooner so I could have snagged it up myself, but I had never even heard of Fiddleback Forge in 2011:

ps: please ignore this post if I missunderstood & this giveaway is only for Fiddleback owners

I have not found another knife that quite feels as perfect in hand as a fiddleback. Other companies would stop with this advantage, but Andy tops his knives off by making them all works of art. Each one is an absolute beauty to behold, most pulled straight from nature herself. Atop from that, they are all extremely functionable knives you could bet your life on. For hand made, custom knives like these, Andy sells them for way cheaper than he has to.

My favorite is the bushcrafter, and i love my Irownwood Burl in 1/8th

Fiddlebacks are as much a work of art as they are a functional tool. That is my favorite thing until I actually get my hands on one to use it. Thanks for the GAW!

Hi Whitty, Not sure if I qualify, sure would enjoy owning this knife! So, I'm in! Just returned to the crazy knife collecting after many years of just working. Do have an interest in bushcraft type knives though, have a BM #162.

I don't have a fiddleback, so if that excludes me please ignore this post.

If not, I like that they all look like they were purpose designed for great ergonomics and great purposeful cutting.

What I like so much about Fiddlebacks is that they have a distinctive style that combines art and function as well as inspires a thoughtful community that shares a common bond. Thanks for doing this giveaway. The Sneaky Pete happens to be at the top of my want list and that is a fine representation of one.

Here is one of my favorites.
