Fiddleback on Tap Saturdays

That's a fine example of a Shank and they make a great paring knife. I really like the bolstered green/natural canvas combo.

I'm finding that the Shank is a very under appreciated model. I picked this up a few weeks back and I love it in the kitchen. This one is 1/8" but 3/32" would be perfect. A 3/32 CPM154 would be a Grail Shank. :)

When Saturday's truly are too short...

Yes sir! I'll need to take this bottle just to get me through Friday's entry line. Tony, you down?

I'm sorry Justen. Things are happening fast up here. I haven't said anything yet because I wasn't sure, and with the events of this week I really wanted to just support Madden, and Andy.
Looks like my dad is in his last days. We've got hospice in, and while he's been declining for some time, things seem to be picking up speed. Could be any day. Or it could be weeks. We just don't know.
I took Thursday and Friday off to go to Blade, but I may need to drive north instead. I'm waiting on a call from my sister, but if things keep going this way I'll use those days off to be with him. He's non-responsive (been that way for weeks), but I drove up last week and when I went to leave he opened his eyes and called my name. Known the man 55 years, and never had a moment like that.

It would be a mercy, and I pray he's called home very soon. My mother and sister, and his two brothers, are waiting for him.

I would love to celebrate Madden in that line with you! See the gang again, shark some blades, and build more friendships! I'll know by Wednesday after I get a report. It just may not be in the waters this time.

Tony

Tony, so sorry to hear your news. We'll be thinking and praying for your whole family during this time. I lost my father 7 years ago this Labor Day after a 5 year long battle with a very rare auto immune disease, so I share your feelings. Take this time to reflect and write down your thoughts and feelings so you can keep them frozen in time forever. If you want to talk, skip the PM and go straight for the cell phone buddy. We're here for ya.
