Fiddleback Runt Thread

B - from the pin size, lack of bullseye lanyard tube and blade finish, this gorgeous runt appears to be a production blade with custom shop scales. Best of both works if you ask me.

You are correct. Stainless blade with custom handle for a hard worker!

What sorcery is this?!?! How is that even done? (Beautiful BTW)

What you do is take a nice piece of wood with some variance in depth and structure, then apply a propoxylated amine catalyst with some aliphatic diisocyanate polymer and dye. Then you vacuum seal the media under pressure :)

welp .. first, apparently it takes a PHd so you can pronounce a bunch of $3 words you wikipedia'd to understand that you pour bowling ball material into a piece of burl wood that has natural voids - let it cool, then slice it up into scales. *tada* But seriously ... I think the scales are made by j. hue customs. :)

Current collection. Minus the one in my pocket.
Note: the 2nd row is all Shadetree handles.
The Bottom row is Left, Valkyrie Punks, W.A. Surls 'Bantams' I think? (matched set = badass).
Bottom row Right are Palmers.
