How did the patch work out for you?? I'm hopin to get my recluse dirty this Friday.
It's my favorite Fiddleback to date, I look forward to purchasing more of them in the same model, and it worked flawlessly cleaning that deer. I plan to put together some sort of "Fiddleback Patch" review thread with it's paces during deer cleaning... but I almost put it through the ringer testing it the other evening... I even cut through the upper ribs with the knife. When I was finished, it was still hair shaving sharp (though I did put my own edge on it). Loved the ergonomics of the blade, and the handle (of this particular one) for the whole thing. Look for a more in depth review in weeks to come as I clean more animals.

I'm really looking forward to that review.
Just one of my various styles of feather sticks. This is my "flower" style feather stick that I did with the KE Bushie. I like to use small twigs as a partial test to judge the control of the blade. The Bushie is a great knife and doesn't get the recognition that it deserves in my humble opinion. I will certainly be trying to pick more of these up!

Whilst I don't have any user pics the KEB is the only Fiddleback Forge which I have a duplicate of. My Curly Koa 1/8th Tapered O-1 is my travel knife. It has just come back from an extended trip to NZ & Australia.
Don't get me wrong, I love my Bushfinger and my other smaller FF's but if I had to pick just one, the KEB would be it...
Enjoy!
Ben
Digging the double bolsters!
Nice!
Yep. I'll second that.![]()
I'm really looking forward to that review.
I cleaned and quartered a deer yesterday evening and took a ton of pictures with my Patch knife in action. I'll be slowly putting together that thorough review... got quite a bit of good material together so far.
That's my bushbootShow offlol which knife
