I've posted this production Bushfinger up a couple times. S35VN does not blink an eye at saltwater. Totally appropriate for fishing and boating imho.

I got to work on a spatula today for my aunt the one on the left was the first attempt! The bush finger worked real well at taking off a lot material at a time and the hiking buddy worked well at the smaller finer carving!

I sure won't mind, I love the Kephart model. Pretty sure I posted a lot of pics of my first one and of others. I would have posted more pics of my mid-tech one by now but I have been using it in some professional projects and I have to be mindful of not posting things too similar. It would get me fussed at. I really hope to get a custom shop version soon, I love the CPM S35VN, but I still prefer the hand shaped handles for long periods of use. Andy's handles can spoil a person...
