Awesome looking dinner Joe! Nice homecoming. Love me some meat and potatoes. Yummy. Prime Rib I'm assuming. Paired with your own wine?
Mist, love the snow and the stir fry!
Polished Hunter Goodness. Love this knife in the kitchen, but for some reason I refuse to let it patina.

I love that you guys post your knives with food pics. I'm always snapping pics of dinner (as my wife makes it) and she always thinks it's silly. I think it's beautiful.
Vance, how do you find the Karda in the kitchen? I'm still trying to figure out what I'll do with mine (haven't handled it yet), and now that I look at your pics it seems like it would make a fine steak knife.
What else do you use it for?
strig,
i think the karda excels for small or finer cutting tasks. i find it better suited to say...coring out an onion as opposed to slicing the onion in half
it does work well as a steak knife

So more stabby than slicy? I can work with that.![]()
Joe that does look 3d... Crazy pic which reminds me that I have yet to eat today!
Not so much "more stabby than slicy" as it just has a short blade that won't span an entire onion...shallots yes, scallions yes, full-sized onions noBut yes, it is a pointy little thing, just the way I like 'em!
