Damn that looks mighty good!

What's that I hear? "You can't skin a deer with a scandi!"

Oh come on. It can handle it fine.

Done.

Don't tell the Scandinavians you can't skin a dear with a scandi...they don't need to know they have been doing the impossible for hundreds of years... :)

Sweet combo. I have the Hawken in .54. Love the modern/traditional theme.
I bet that cheese and sausage stinks to high heaven, tho!

Mrs Schmittie helped me when we both got off today. I try to bring deer home boneless, in a cooler. But there is a lot of work past that. It took us (because we are still learning) 4 hours to do each deer. We did one last night, the remaining tonight. It may not look like much, but here is tonight's pile. (Roughly 60 lbs)

Afterwards, we "rewarded" ourselves with grilling the inner tenderloins with dinner. It was amazing!!

Thanks schmittie for showing up my Mac n Cheese with your self processed deer tenderloins.

Nice work to you and mrs schmittie!

Nice doe! And nice group of blades too! I love that natural G10 Bushboot. Oh, and Dale's scales make the ESEE-6 feel like a whole new knife don't they?

They do make it feel like a whole new knife, but the sheath is loose so I think I may put the stock ones back on.
Thanks! It was donated to me. I didn't have any luck this year.only got out a few times late
I love the swedged bb
