• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

just a poll on the types of knives you carry, you can make multiple choices

Depends on the time of year. I always have a Leatherman, 7 to 8 inch fixed blade, 3 to 4 inch fixed blade and a saw. Cold weather add in an axe.

I carry an Ontario Rat3 in D2 that I got for $20 as a cosmetic second. Besides a misplaced lazer etching and having to reprofile the edge, it's a fantastic knife.

If you meen carry on a dayhike its a SAK, and a FB less under 6 and thinner than 1/4

fixed less than 6" blade, less than 1/4" thick for me. It may be accompanied by an axe, a hatchet, or a larger knife for the heck of it. No folding knives, except perhaps a SAK Ranger.

I carry a SAK Huntsman and a Spyderco Endura for hikes and EDC. I'm wanting to buy a Cold Steel large or XL Voyager clip point, plain edge to replace my Endura.

I have always sported a Leatherman. Before I quit my job to move to Texas, it was with a Manix. After I quit my job but still lived in Jersey it was with a Benchmade fixed resistor, great knife. This was my first stainless fixed blade and I like it still for canoing.

Since I got to Texas it's been an RC-4.

I always carry my Lone Wolf T1 (rosewood scales) and my Vic Soldier.
When i go fishing/hiking i also have a Vic Trekker,a Vic Classic SD (red) , carbon steel Mora Classic 2 and a 14'' Tramontina machete.Sometimes i also take my carbon steel Opinel 8. :)

Always have my Scibeer Woodsman SAK. In the woods I tend to add one of my Fixed Blades under 6", (Mostly A TAK-1, or either a Gossman PSKsr or WTK) a PSK, and sometimes a Victronix MT or a SOG MT.

The Woodsman I always have, the other vary depending on how long I plan to be out, etc.
