Recommendation? Fighter bowie suggestions?

Wow, so many replies, so many suggestions! Thank you all for them. Few replies:

- Tony Mont - his work looks amazing, thank you. I will save the contact and will see.
- Courty & Fils in Paris - hm, those knives looks amazing too, but there is something wrong with the geometry. Look at the decimal pointer in the price! Too far to the right! :)
- Joker, cuderman, meula - yea, beautiful knives, but they do quite generic bowies. I am looking for something more fightery, more quick in the hand, more Laredo-ish.
- CS Trailmaster - I have him. Beautiful knife. Great for camping, excellent EDC with big possibilities reagarding self defense. I bought him in 52100 steel, blackened, great price. Removed the coating, turned the blade into absolute wonderful mirror. Then I put Laredo right next to him. And sorry, no. Laredo is longer, more intimidating (which can solve many problems before they escalate) and quicker in hand.
- CS drop forged bowie - I have that one too. Carried it as my EDC for two years. Thought that is the final knife, I won´t get better, I don´t need better. Especially not the overpriced Laredo or Natchez. Then the basterds in CS gave thirty percent discount on Laredo. And here we go again...

IMO, the ultimate "fighting bowie" is the subhilt fighter, which Bob Loveless originally came up with as a cross between a dagger and a Bowie. It has the form factor of a scaled-down bowie but is double-edged and has a half hilt behind the forefinger to facilitate pulling the knife out for a followup.

Well, something between, I would say. Pure fighter is little limited in use as well as traditional bowie is little too heavy and bulky. I have to admit the CS Laredo really hitted the spot. The tree can be taken down with that, and it is still faster in the hand than anything in this size category.

Thanks for suggestion. I have looked, I have drooled, I have cried because of the prices (mostly). The problem is... there are so many beautiful knives which looks amazing on the screen and I am sure would look even better in real life. But I cannot know how they feel in the hand, I cannot compare them. If I buy any of the custom, I probably could end in a situation like "hmmm... this new knife is beautiful, great steel, blade long enough... but that Laredo fits me better." And then this whole thread would repeat itself.
So, I guess I will probably end with the better steel Laredo version, because there are so many great suggestions here, but to everybody I can reply "yes, thank you, but Laredo is better in..."

3V CS Trailmaster ,or the shorter Recon Scout , would both be solid options for survival / bushcraft etc .

Shop around and it's hard to beat Cold Steel 3V prices /value .

Really , for just fighting /SD , your 4034 is more than adequate. 🤠

Yea, more and more I am thinking about it, more I am convinced the Laredo is THE knife for me.

I know, for SD even the blunt piece of sheet metal is more than adequate. But I am a perfectionist. What if I will have to fight something bigger suddenly when walking through the city? Tank for example. Then the 4034 would surely not be enough. Really, if I can have completely indestructible adamantium version of Laredo, I would. And two weeks later I would start to worry because it is still not a full tang! :-)
