This fighter was an order....had it on display at Blade show. Told one fella he could pick it up ...he said he didn't want to bust his arm! I said pick it up:thumbup: ....then asked him how his arm felt.:D ...he was amazed, and said the knife felt a third of what he thought it would. It was a great compliment!:D
Blade is hand forged 1075...NS, and copper fittings....Frame handle of NS and Curly maple.
This baby is over 17" long
Let me know what you think......good or bad.

I KNOW that it's whicked, because I got to handle it at Blade.

Mace isn't kidding, it's MUCH faster in hand than one would expect based solely on appearance.

Fit and finish were very nice too!

It was great to finally get to shake your hand in Atlanta Mace! :D

Thanks Nick! It was great to shake your hand as well.
Hey ...does the pic of this knife come out blury on your computers? It does on mine......
Mace

PS. The knife is not as blury as it may appear! Only when in use...:D

  Looks pretty sweet from here!!!

Nice looking piece of wood also! Curly Maple? Nice work!!!

[Edit:DUH!!! Description says curly maple!!]

Mace, Thats a fine looking knife! I don't remember seeing that one at the show but I do remember the larger bowie. It was good getting a chance to talk with you.

Very nice. I would've expected a blade that long to have a steel pommel or rear bolster for balance. Where is the balance point on that blade if it's okay for a guy to ask? Does the long taper towards the tip help to keep the balance point near the guard? Really nice wood on that handle.

Thanks fellas!

ND, The ballance point is at the top of the "M" in my name.

Darn you Mace, thats another reason to upset me for not getting back around to your table. I don't remember seeing it when I came by and you were gone, maybe I came by the wrong table to begin with, BOY O BOY these senior moments are really becoming a pain.

Great looking Bowie and I'm sorry I didn't get the chance to fondle it. Picture looks great also.

Bill

Thanks guys!

Bill, Sorry I missed you...I tried to stay at my table as much as I could...but you can't go to that show without looking around a bit.
Mace

Is THIS the one you made me for my birthday present!??!??! Wow, man, you shouldn't have...

...oh wait, you didn't. Bastid.

Nice work, anyway. Love the handle.

LOL....you guys are bad. Don't get down on yourself Mr. Buxton. It was darn near impossible to get to a lot of tables at Blade the first time, much less visit again. It was a bit overwhelming even for someone like me who didn't have a table:eek: That is a VERY nice looking knife, Mace, but you must be a glutton for punishment doing that frame handle. That's too much like work for someone like me to contemplate:D
