FIL throws his leek in the trash!

I just spent a week at disney world. My BM710 was a constant rider in my pocket. just unclip it and let in sit inside the pocket. I forgot at one park and I just stuck it in a locker at the door. It cost all of 50 cents. I would never throw it away. I would have hid it somewhere outside or just pretended to throw it away and secretly clipped it behind my belt buckle. I dont know how many times I've stuck a knife behind a knife behind a belt buckle when they used a metal detecter and pat down at a club. No bouncer/security guard is ever gonna feel around behind your belt buckle groin area for $10/hour. Im sure as hell not walking all the way back to the car. My view is if the knife is legal in the state then it should be legal everywhere in that state except maybe courtrooms.

Any time I enter a place full of sheeple, I unclip my knife and slide it in my pocket. It saves hassles and is a lot easier than playing limbo with some security guard who thinks he's the expert on knife laws. I've had LEOs think my Kershaws are switchblades, even my non AOs. I just avoid the hassle so I don't let them know I have a knife. It's easier that way and doesn't make mothers of young children gawk at your clip as if you're some freak for carrying a tool.

Nice post and thanks for the ideas.

I recently had occurence to find out the local emergency room/trauma center has a metal detector you need to go through to get to the waiting room, or other areas. They will allow you to take your knife back to your car. I'd guess your pistol too provided you have a Concealed carry permit. If not?, who knows.
