Ok don't get too excited. This is not perfect but I thought it could be of some help to some and a way to give back a little.
It has HSS inserts, no carbide so I would suggest using it with files not on your grinder. And the threading for the bolts is a little shallow so don't get out the 2 feet handled hex key to tighten them. ;)
They are made of aluminum and the inserts are 2.5" wide.

Your post number will be your contest number. To make you work a little, please post your favorite shop music.

I will run this for a week and pick a number next Tuesday. This include shipping to continental US/Canada.

Here are the pics.

Patrice

Thanks Patrice! I've been eyeing one of these for a while to help me with my plunge lines.

I like to have a good mix going but it always includes Dropkick Murphys, Foxy Shazam, Green Day, Flogging Molly and lately Weezer's new CD (Raditude) has has a lot of play time as well. I've got pretty intense tinnitus so I always have background noise otherwise I'll go crazy ;)

Thanks for the chance.

My shop music is old school 60's and 70's Rock and Roll; Zeppelin, Sabbath, Aerosmith, etc...You get the idea.

Thanks for the opportunity, Patrice!

Lately I've been listening to a local university station and they play the full spectrum of just about anything you can imagine. Other than that, I listen to talk radio. :)

Don't count me in but I listen to Bulletproof Marshmallows (a local reggae band, they tour West Coast twice a year though) they'd really like to get some gigs in Vancouver so if you could hook someone up :D Dropkick Murphys, Josephus and the George Jonestown Massacre (lead man used to play with Reverend Horton Heat), Haydn, Grieg, Korn and Johnny Cash are in my CD changer in the shop.

That's a nice file guide! Thanks for the chance Patrice!

Oddly enough...I don't listen to music while working on my knives! I've found that it distracts me too much! -Matt-

I'm in Italy so don't count me in but I listen to METAL for the hard work.... or classic music if I have to be creative
