Finally back in the shop

Andy, Great job. I envy your progress. Website is pretty cool also. Are you still cutting all those profiles out by hand?

About half of them were cut by hand. Half were waterjetted. Its expensive though. I may just suffer through the hand cutting process.

And I thought That I was obsessed with the drill press, 26 holes in one handle:eek: You got me beat by 5, almost like a challenge:) Are you going to pin all of those, or just lightning the tang?

Glad to see you're back in business. Love that laminated handle - reminds me of old school recurve bows.

Thanks Guys. BMA, no way am I pinning all those holes. Just wanted to lighten the tang and give myself a lot of pinning options. The ones with a LOT of holes were waterjet cut. So you win on the drill press shootout. I spend as little time there as possible.

Wintermute! Thats what I kinda thought. It was a lot of fun to do. What that means is that I've got to glue up more like it now...

Doh!

Damn. I wasn't planning any wood on the bushcrafts. Hmmm.

Edited: Thats because I was going for tough. These Bushcraft blades are 5/32 thick. THe thickest I've done!

About time you got back to work slacker. :D looking good Andy.

No. Taking $ up front has been the downfall of many knifemakers bro. Its not personal!

I'll get them done, and take pics of the process so y'all can see.

I got an idea. When there all done, just post 1 for sale J's visitor message area and the other on mine:thumbup::D:cool:

Hows that sound?

Wise. Very, very wise.

Your way, the knives are yours until you sell them. Nobody owns your product until you're ready to ship.

Very nice, Andy.
