Got the tracking info and I should have my 102 on Monday, it's currently about 45 minutes away at my regional USPS warehouse.

Gotta look it over first, but next step should be figuring out just how to go about getting it in for spa.
I know you gotta send it to Buck with a note stating what you want, but I don't know how you go about paying for the spa service and return shipping.

Go to the website and download the warranty repair form...There you will tell them what you want and there's info on payment for the service....

I had the same problem. I called they said just use the form as a guide and write a letter. As long as they get the info. They are happy.

I included my cel phone and my blade forums ID. They called my cel phone several times during the process.

Then I'll probably just do that.

Just sorting through some pictures for the SPS and found this one comparing fixed Clip blades; pre-86 Buck 102 with the upward angle (guessing made in early 1980's). Seems like the shorter clip blades have this feature. OH

Well the tracking number says it's not at the local post office yet, so it's looking like it'll probably be making the afternoon rounds at best and I've gotta work at noon which would mean not getting it till tomorrow :(

The tracking info could be lagging and it's actually there already, at least I hope anyways.

Well I think there's some kind of conspiracy against me but I should hopefully have the 110 today :D

For some reason the knife landed at my regional facility in Sacramento CA, went past my town to Reading CA where it just sat yesterday, then back to Sacramento where it just left ( hopefully to my PO box this time ) at 3:00 this morning.
With Bucks Usual 6-8 week turnaround if this knife does really need a SPA treatment I sure don't need anymore delays with this knife.

The 6-8 weeks starts when they “check it in” in my case that was about a month they had it before it got checked in so it ended up about 11 weeks.

Remember........it's hunting season.

Don't send your knives in at this time of year.

Many workers are on vacation.

Send your knives in February.

I think probably will send it in for spa, and all said and done It should cost me at least a few dollars less than a brand new one.

Should have just bought a new one. The anticipation is killing me. :D

Good call.
If I end up sending it in I'll wait.
I keep looking at the pictures and it doesn't seem too bad from what I can see, we'll see hopefully today just what condition it's in.

It's at the post office finally but I'll have to go up in a couple hours and see if I can pick it up as it doesn't appear to have made it in time for the morning rounds.
