  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Finally / BK3 on order

I'll join in the fun. I just picked up a Camillus era 3 from the Exchange section of the Aussie version of this forum so should have it next week and really interested to see how it performs, so any tests you can suggest I will try to emulate here.

How active is the Australian bladeforums anyway? Thought about signing up for it...

Heard of a store named after a large south american river? Maybe there?

That doesn't give me the chance to just fondle it before I buy. Neither do Tomars or Moosez. That's the only problem with buying online, no pre-fondling.

We were out scouting for a campsite for my son and friends for the weekend. It just so happens that the new BK3 made the trip. I wanted to get her dirty before she thought she was a safe queen. This was tested without touching up any of the edges.

remove bark / no problem
chopping / OK but not a BK9
batoning / no problems
delimbing / not as good as BK9 or BK2

I have a friend who hauls junk cars for crushing. I plan to hook up with him and try a little rescue/demolition/salvage when time permits. This will reside in my truck and do all task when needed I'm quite sure. More to come. BTW I am satisfied with this purchase and would think most would be happy with it.

I too have several Beckers I use consistently , but the 3 just kinda hangs out in the emergency box. Let us know how you test this blade and I too will (test )this blade and post pics. pm me if interested in co- reviewing this very under talk about Becker. You do a test and then I'll do the same and maybe up the test a tad and we could post pics and have a unique thread for a change! Let me know if interested.
Hell let's make it3 for 3 and I'll throw mine in the testing too.
