I love my daggers!
This dagger does look great. I wish the blade was at least 4". I may buy it anyway because the price is very affordable.I've always liked daggers and have a few fixed blade daggers, but when I saw this Artisan Folding dagger I had to have it.

I'm a fan of daggers too (of which I have many in various forms) but it's really hard to beat the Gerber Mk I (of which I own 2 - the short and long variations - plus a partially serrated Guardian).
Nothing sharper or more "pointy" and better balanced in a doubled edged dagger exists IMO and, when I'm in the mood to carry it, I use a Sticky Holster Ankle Biter inside a boot to do so.
The most recent "dagger" that I bought was the newly released Spyderco Nightstick which is a dagger in name only because it only has one sharpened edge. It's ok but it's no Gerber Mk I.
In terms of autos, the Benchmade Infidels (long and short, DLS and satin) or Protech Dark Angel are also hard to beat as is the Spyderco SpyderFly if you're looking for a dagger in alternative formats. BTW, I own 1 or more examples of these knives too.
I remember owning Japanese repros of the Mark I and Mark II in the 1980s... ahhhh fun times.
That anniversary edition is an interesting one.... it has the lines / DNA of a Mark I but it's a different beast. Full tang + G10 modern construction vs original alloy handle and integral guard. Not too many knives made with cast alloy handles these days.
Nice score, brother! I’m jelly.I just purchased this dagger and can’t wait for it to arrive in the mailView attachment 1432757
My condolences and Thank you For YOUR SON'S Ultimate Sacrifice.I only have 3 daggers. One very small one I had hand-forged by a Hmong blackmith in a Lao refugee camp in Thailand in 1980 for a few bucks. No pic, but it's around here somewhere. The other 2 are Boker Applegate-Fairbairn, one longer, one short. The long one was carried by my son in Iraq. I got it back when he was killed there. The other was a short, triangular section boot knife version that my brother gave me in memory. My son's pic:
