Wow guys, I never thought this post would see the light of day again; as Nathan indicates it's about a year old now!
Thanks for your comments and compliments on this knife. I worked my tail off off and on for a long period of time (close to a year believe it or not) over many, many hours, and to this day I'm still somewhat in a state of disbelief that I ever finished it. There were many times along the way that I thought I would just toss it in the trash and never be a knife maker after all, but somehow I stuck it out. Although crude in some ways, I'm still quite proud of it. If an impatient, unskilled desk jockey like me can do it, then ANYONE can!
