Finally - Insingo Inkosi!!!

I really like how that notch in the spine of the blade (from the 25 days) works with the proportions of the Insingo grind. It sorta highlights the overall blade shape, if you get what I mean. This knife looks so great. Bravo CRK......knocking it outta the park again.....and giving the people what they want. I think this is going to be a "legendary blade". The combo of the thicker stock, with the more delicate tip of the insingo shape, is going to make for a very interesting knife. Can't wait (to be able to afford one)!

I completely agree with you. I really dig the blade on the new Insingo Inkosi. I cannot wait to get my dirty paws on one.

Thank you CRK!!

Any speculation on the price point for the insingo inkosi, in particular with the micarta?

I suspect it will be comparably priced to the drop point micarta Inkosi

Probably going to be in line with the other inkosi/25 offerings.

Looks great! I'll take one with CF inlays pls.

I'm not sure if this is bad or good for me. Just when I was starting to narrow my CRK tastes, this drops and now I have to figure it out again. ;)

I will add that several months ago there was something akin to a "wish list" thread for CRK. My wish was exactly this. Careful what you wish for...lol!

Perfect.
I was just about to pull the trigger on a different cutting tool, but something made me hesitate.

Now this is going to be expensive for me.
Large plain - micarta a small maybe?
Wonderful news. Thanks for sharing! :)

then carbonfiber...

I like it! I never really cared for the Sebenza Insingo when I tried one. Then again I've tried 5 different Small 21's and none ever stuck. I like that this appears to have slightly more belly and the spine appears to slightly dip bringing the tip up just slightly. It looks like it'll be a powerful slicer. I've owned and almost exclusively carried a small inkosi for over 18 months now. It's the best knife I have ever owned, customs included. I think one of these will be a must for me at some point. Nice job CRK!

Some of those look like they have double silver thumb studs and others blue.

Just as with the current 21/25/Inkosi, the plain slab models have the Blue lugs, whereas the inlaid versions have the silver.

However, Tim DID say that you could order directly from CRK if you want the silver studs on the plain version, which is what I will be doing about 1 minute past noon on the 1st of June!!!

I've been hunting for a deal on a micarta small Inkosi. I'm glad one never panned out now. I would love a small Insingo Inkosi with natural micarta.

Just when I thought I had my next CRK figured out...

I'm guessing the wait list will be huge, but this is probably a case of good things coming to those who wait.

Another thing you could do is just get the blue and some flitz or simichrome and just polish off the blue anodization, doesn't take long at all

I've done that, and it seems like no matter how careful you are, in order to get all the blue off you end up polishing a little bit of the blade and missing a little of the blue. Plus, it's just easier to have it sent with the silver ones already installed.

Oh no doubt if you want perfect and easy.... But that also assumes you have patience which I have proven to myself I have very little of when it comes to CRKs lol

A large Insingo Inkosi with natural Micarta to match my drop point version would be sweet, but I'll hold out hope for something I posited a few months ago--Wilson Combat large Insingo StarKosi.

How long is the expected wait time for ordering from the site? I'm new to CRK and have never ordered from them. Are we talking weeks, months, or (gulp...) more than that? What's the over/under?
