**** FINALLY SHIPPING THEM - 2009 Forum Knives update

Just a couple of loose ends to deal with on returned knives with flaws.

Adam, I am thrilled it made it home.

Thanks to everyone for your patience with me on this. I am sure there were some uneasy feelings here and there from folks that did not know me well. The trust of all of you means a lot to me.

My forum knife has a flaw. I carried it alot, and now it misplaced itself. :(

Can you do something about it:confused:

I am gonna have a monkey on my back til I find it. They always do turn up.

I have never been accused of being the brightest candle on the birthday cake.

All I can help with is the following tutorial:

  • Take knife out of pocket.
  • If you are a wus or carrying mop handles, remove from purse.
  • Cut stuff, whittle stuff, or show knife to friends.
  • Put knife back in pocket.
  • If purse was involved, throw it away (while keeping knife in pocket).
:D

I hope it shows up soon Chris.

Misplaced mine 3 times and found it each time, know where it is now, No I mean really I can't find it....what the:confused:.... oops there it is in my RFP.

Everytime I find it again I put it right back in my pocket, although I must admit that I've misplaced the '09 forum knife more than any other, I wonder why that is.

Once again, thanks to all involved in the project, great friends, beautiful knife.

I am gonna make that bold my signature. Great stuff:thumbup:

I found it in the last place I looked.

Last pair of shorts in the corner of the closet. I actually do carry a leather hand bag with laptop and product literature. So, I have to resemble the purse remarks.:o I call it a murse, men's purse.

I get compliments on my murse, especially when I wear matching shoes. :D

 and LOL.

Don't know if this is the proper place, buthow does one get on the list for the 2010 traditional forum knife? Thank you

Paul

I took to my new forum knife last night with the DMT diamond stones. I was a bit surprised at how long it took to slightly reprofile the blades. I only changed the angle by a few degrees and only then because the DMT Aligner didn't exactly match the factory angle.

Anyway, I got the blades pretty sharp, but the edge is not as smooth as I would like it. I might do some more work on it today.

Bloody nice knife!

I tried to stay as close to factory as well. D2 will humble you when obtaining an edge.
