Our knife is so much better!

Yeah, STeven, nice job holding their feet to the fire on that one. The full-size wharnie blade is MUCH nicer.
Also, this weekend at the Mother's Day cookout, I got to show my barlow off to my dad & uncles. Everyone was drooling, and they're not knife knuts.

Received mine over the weekend. Top notch for sure - I'm hesitant to put in in my pocket. Thanks to all and the donor.

I received my 2009 BFC Barlow today. You guys hit a grand slam on this one! Thanks Gus, STeven and the Stagman (or woman). Thanks to Queen too for turning out a really excellent knife.:thumbup:

Few more going out tomorrow. I just ran out of ink for printing labels.
Waynorth (US address), AG Russell and Teacher. Telcontar's went out today also.

Ink? Phhhttthhht ...

A real man would slash his finger and use his blood for the labels.

.

Charlie, AG and teacher can vouch on their faded labels.

Will tell you all a very brief and illuminating story when everyone has theirs in hand, and both Gus and I are very happy that everyone seems to be enjoying these.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

That's the wharnie blade they sent in the second prototype(the first prototype was a single spear blade with the stag on it, and aluminum bolsters), and I FREAKED out, and informed the head of production at Queen what the knife we contracted for was, line item, by line item, in late September.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson
Is this the story?

Just a little of it. :D.

I would gladly assume buyer position for anyone who doesn't want their Forum knife. Can't hurt to ask. :)

Next up.

kidwholaughs, EA42, JG Kelley, Neeman (to US addy), Glocktenman and Flymon.

Gus, you don't need anyone to vouch for you.

Stop sucking up, you got your knife. The forum is imploding from the vacuum.:D:D:D

Let the guys who don't have their knives yet get a crack at the last few kilopascals.:p:p;)

There is enough Gus for all of us.

Somehow that sounds just wrong.:foot:

:)

Woo Hoo!
I just picked mine up at the PO.
I don't know what it is, but I just love this knife already.
I think it might be the heft of the thing. Just feels beafy. Maybe it's the blades. I've become a big fan of warnies.
The stag is outstanding.
Thanks to everybody involved.

Got mine yesterday! Its a real sweet knife! Its my first Barlow patterned knife (wanted my 1st to be this one:D) and am super stoked on the feel/size of this Barlow:thumbup:. The stag is super with the scales even in thickness. The blades are, to my surprise shaving sharp:eek: Either Queen has stepped up the factory edge on their D2 blades or Gus was bored and hooked me up lol. The pattern of both the clip and wharny blades are pure sweetness in their design/execution. A killer knife in a package that is IMHO perfect for EDC. I really like the Case Chestnut swayback jack alot but always felt it would be ideal if it was just a tad bigger. Well when I recieved this Barlow it came to mind immediately that this was what I envisioned. Anyway I'm kinda rambling so in parting; just want to give a shout out to Gus, Steve, and the kind (and much loved) stag donor...THANKS and much ALOHA:thumbup::D

Charlie, AG and teacher can vouch on their faded labels.

I certify the above statement is 100% true.......... :D

But, faded label and all........ I got m 2 yesterday.

These puppies are truly nice!!!!

Thanks again to Gus, Steven, and the ASD.

You guys did a tremendous job IMO.....

These are truly sweet, one of a kind knives!!!

Best regards to you all,
Cp

Came home to find mine waiting on me. Did pretty good in the Stag lottery, looks good!

Well, I now have in my hands my first stag knife and my first barlow knife all in one. I really like these two blades together. Thanks a bunch to everyone who had a hand in this elaborate project.
