Hey Ryan, fly safe and keep an eye out for the troops. Are you in a reserve unit or active duty? I'm an old flyer myself. I flew 20 years on C-141s (loadmaster). Still active duty but got a hardship tour in Hawaii
All my buds are making the cargo runs and doing the humanitarian food drops on the C-17. I miss the adrenalin surge!
I'm sure the PaveHawk is a kick in the pants!! I got to do a HALO drop in a HH-3 Jolly Green back in 1990. We went up to 10K and dropped PJs, landed and dropped them again. Flew around in the mountains of the Philippines for about 1.5, it was a blast, but it gets cold at at 10,000 feet!
Does the HH-60 have just minis or does it have a .50 cal too?
Sorry for all the questions, knowing your going to do some real down and dirty flying just brings back the memories.
Keep your harness tight and your guns locked and loaded. All the best.
