Finding Used RATs

Just keep watching the trading forum. But watch out they go VERY VERY FAST. or just start saving a little $$ and pick your self out a new one. Either way RAT KNIVES are alot of BANG FOR THE BUCK. GOOD LUCK

Saw that there was an Izula posted yesterday in the for sale forum... and 9 minutes later...GONE.

I understand I might piss off some people with this thread but that's not my intention so... I'm curious about the offensive idea of people selling their RAT knives. I've been watching in the exchange forum and it seems like RATs just about never come up and when they do they are gone very quickly. I take this as agreat testimony as to the quality and craftmanship of these knives. But the reality is that a lot of us who can't drop $100+ on a knife (for example I'm a grad student and diapers take priority over my wants). Obviously these knives will last for a long time and I'm not trying to diminish the value of these knives by any means but there must be people who are selling used models; right? Or am I just off base here? I would love to be able to be a RAT owner sooner than later but its really not feasible for me at retail prices. Is there somewhere I should be looking for used RATs or do I just need to wait it out and put it off for a couple years till I can justify a new-knife purchase?

Tell you what young lad, if you'll email me your address, I'll fix you up.

Keep in mind that anything worth having is worth working for. I'm not a student but am married with 2 little ones myself, one of which is still in diapers and I completely understand where you are coming from. My paycheck, however small it may be lately, goes to the family. My secret to buying my wants is saving my change and dollar bills. I won't spend my change or dollar bills, but empty my pockets everyday and put my change in a jar and my bills in a safe. It will add up a lot quicker than you think, in a month's time you may very well have enough to pick you something up.

I hope you have daughters or else the boy will be picking his stuff up from you.

If the guy is young, in school an not a dad it might be the only time he can enjoy the knife without having to watch it all the time.
