I use one of my Leatherman's blades like bushman's^^
Using the edge of the 'carbon' steel file/rasp is actually less effective - still works, just not as well.

Try a Corona Clipper sharpening tool. They really let the sparks fly!!!

What he said! It's carbide, really seems to work well to throw sparks and you can sharpen your knives
