I would have suggested the CQC-10. I love the blade shape and the thumb hole is great for “low drag” carry.
It is with a heavy heart (and with this overly dramatic statement) that I report that I no longer have my mini CQC-7. I felt it was overbuilt for its size and my needs, and I never did love the chisel ground edge or how it felt in my hand. It looked great, though, and was tough as nails. But just not my thing.
