First Fiddleback Friday of 2013

I agree this is a GREAT batch!!! If I hadn't got the Bushfinger the stabilized dyed curly maple Kephart is quite the specimen. I really can't believe it still available. I was stunned at the batch as a whole...

Awesome batch as usual Andy!! That cocobolo KE Bushie is beautiful, I love the way you did the pins. That Tuxedo Recluse is stunning, and that green Bushcrafter looks awesome!

Andy, I'll take the Bushboot.

I would just like to say thank you for this. I've been on some potent pain killers for a week now, and had surgery on Thursday. That Bushboot is almost the knife I have been wanting to get for a long term personal plant photography project. If I had seen it still available I would have been just out of it enough to say I'll take it without realizing it was 1/8 and not 5/32, and then had to figure out how I was going to pay for it afterwards. Though had it been 5/32 this would have definitely been a worthwhile time and reason to sell a couple of other knives to fund it, my head is no where near clear enough to be messing with my camera equipment for the for sale photos, or for making decisions in a for sell thread. Congrats man, that's an awesome looking knife!

Thanks, I was looking for a thin blade and I knew if I didn't jump on this one it would go quickly.

Just back from family vacation, missed the last 2--I'll be the next, Andy your skills are awesome.

Thanks man, I have been looking at picking up some of Andy's knives for awhile but decided to pull the trigger today. I can't wait to see them in person and am really excited about the Kephart since it will be my first scandi grind. Pay pal sent Andy, everyone have a good weekend and I'll post pics when they arrive!

You picked two great profiles in my book—I absolutely LOVE my Hunter and my Kephart is a constant go-to. Slap them in a Heber or R.Lo sheath and you are good to go. Wow. If this is your first purchase from Andy and crew, good for you—you did awesome in my book. I'm jealous actually. Enjoy!

Yep, can say the same here. My hunter and I have spent a lot of time in the woods together and done a lot of experiments. It's an awesome knife and is now pretty much my dedicated hunting knife. The G10 Kephart handle feels amazing when I'm carving and it has a great blade geometry for that. My next Fiddleback needs to be something small enough to edc in an urban environment, something classier than the knives I have in that role now.

I know what you mean. Both the Kepharts are awesome this week. I about melted over the blue curly maple. If Andy takes it up from here, I will looking hard and fast.

I wasn't looking for a bushcrafter, but the od canvas with orange liner got me. This will be my first fiddleback . I'm hoping to score a natural micarta bush finger with a 3/4 grind one day

That Bushcrafter looks fantastic. I have a friend up the road an hour or so who has one with a green handle, shadetree green burlap I think, and he just loves it. I can just imagine the balance with the tapered tang.
