That came out really nice Daniel.
Will there be more lists?I'd like to get on one. Will you be using other steel than D2 on your folders?I'd love to get that same design in M4.

Thanks! No new lists at the moment... I do hope to put out a good variety and get everyone what they want. My price will stay the same for the current run. (besides upgrades)

I am likely using CPM154CM for the next run with some random hand profiled steels thrown in the mix. :D

Turned out great Daniel!

Much appreciated!

That is a epic folder!

Thanks! :D

I'm glad this thread loads up on Page 2 now. I can't stand scrolling through all those glamour shots on page 1. They were driving me insane with lust :P

Very nice work! Hope l see some more of those out and about.

OK, time to polish up the debate skills . . . . Sally T - 3 DFK knives / J1M - 1 knife . . . . Excellent folder that would look really good in a home in Cincinnati . . .
" Let the sales pitch begin" . . . . :) :)
Daniel, superb work once again, really like the "color & grain" . . . Nice..
Be safe.

Wow!! Solid effort Daniel! As someone who is partial to Ti framelocks in the 3" or under EDC class, your overall design and the details really push a lot of my buttons. Wish it was slightly smaller.

Questions...

(1) I like early lock-up but yours looks so early it almost seems like the lockbar could slip backwards off the tang and potentially close, or is this concern unjustified or perhaps just the photo angle making it seem that way?

(2) Also, maybe a photo illusion but in one pic while closed the bade seems way off center, or am I seeing it wrong?

From my experience with early lockup on titanium framelocks, they'll wear in on their own and settle to a point where they hardly ever move anymore.
The blade looks off-center because it's a chisel grind.

The lockup seems fine to me and has been tested at Daniel's shop, these knives are TANKS!:D

And the blade is centered!;)

Some of us has been follow Daniel with this folder project for almost a year, he has been constantly refining the design and details and tons of work went in to this folder. This folder sure got my full attention since last year and that's why my name is on the list!^ This is one of the best handmade folders out there, imo!

The old clip kinda ruined it for me. but... this... THIS. THIS IS AWESOME! Stalking mode... activated.

CPM154 is a good all-around steel. I like it. :)
Look out for more CPM154 in future DFK's... CPMD2 and D2 as well.

Man, can't believe I missed out. That is sweet!
There will be more, I promise!

Wow, that looks awesome! Nice job :)

Thanks and just the pics! I have worked on these for way too long to mess around with anything less than the best. :D

Yes and it really isn't as early as it looks, I'm getting straight on pics of the next ones. I break them in a bit then apply the carbide... so far after 100's of cycles it is getting smoother and smoother.

It is a tank for sure! I'm really happy with the lock geometry and all...

And Ben knows a good folder.
:D

For the most part I will be using a standard clip pattern and clip (eventually!) but clips can change. :D

I'm still figuring everything/ordering stuff out as far as that goes. I have ordered three sets of screws for clips that have all came in the wrong sizes! (different than ordered from different suppliers!)...and a countersink that was too small for the screw it came for! lol :D

I really enjoy doing different finishes and going the extra mile... these are a lot of fun!

Thanks everyone!

That's right, Ben.
And it's not easy to bring a new folder design into the market have have it be successful. Not easy at all!
But... Daniel did it superbly.
