After about a 4 1/2 month wait, its finally here! I had a long list of custom folders i was considering as my first, but ultimately ended up ordering a Direware Solo v1. Right off the bat i was very impressed at the craftsmanship. Materials and FF are top notch. 3/16th inch blade stock, s35vn. Everything about the knife is overbuilt and beefy. The ti lockbar is thick and makes a sollid thwack when the blade is opened. The pivot has a bearing system which is buttery smooth. The pocket clip is one of the nicest ones ive seen on other customs, easy to slip in pocket and has great tension. Eric definitely hit a homerun with this one!

I've seen this guys knives before and they look awesome. How much did you get yours for? Is it relatively comfortable in the pocket?

Holy crap, that thing is gorgeous.

The muted industrial colours. The worn, blasted finish and subtle patter of the carbon fibre. The sick recurve-ish tanto. The Abrams tank locking bar. That is a work of art that's ready to go to work. I love it.

Definitely a knife to be proud of, 23x. Use it in good health!

I am rarely impressed by so-called solid folders, but this one is a true Monster!

Congrats!

Man that is so awesome....

It's a perfect blend of colors, shapes, and overbuilt-ness

Awesome! Congrats. That would survive a couple of world wars and ask for seconds.

What did they feed that thing?!

Holding it in hand, you can tell the slight weight difference between the Solo v1 and the 301. In pocket, I could hardly tell..but I am used to carrying the 301. It is wider, but how the pocket clip is placed, it still gives you plenty of clearing to get in the pocket

Eric also seemed like a genuinely nice guy. I spoke to him right after I got the knife and he was down to earth, equally as amped just hearing how happy I was with the knife. Highly highly recommend Direware

I want one, I want one, I want one. Great looking knife. Gotta run and grab a bucket for the drool.
