First GA!!! Pocket worn Case Peanut Winner Announced Post on #88

I was gonna say, thanks for the chance, but durn if that isn't pretty. I'm in.

And of course, I always give away a knife when I get one. Good luck, ya know.

I'd like a chance! Thanks! I'm relatively new to this forum. My interest in Traditionals stems from my father and grandfather carrying them. My Dad usually carried a stockman of some sort, usually made by Schrade. I'm interested in quality. I'm looking at getting a traditional of some kind near the end of this year. I'm currently living in Cambodia. Over here folks make their own knives. Getting a nice peanut like this would be a great start into the Traditional scene!

Congratulations on job, may you have many more fine traditionals to enjoy now. I am in, that peanut is gorgeous!

Great GAW Uch! I don't have a peanut as of yet but the sure are purdy. Traditionals are fast becoming my favorites and it's guys like you that make'm even better.

Im in. thank you.
as for my interest in traditionals, they have more story to them, call it soul if you will. A character all their own.
And when you add your own story/soul/chaacter to the knife by years of daily use then it truly becomes something special.

(heck just read any of Carl/'jackknifes' posts!!)

Thanks again for the consideration of regulars. I think this would be a good first knife for my 12 yr. old....

Second entry, I'm not posting all I want but when I do post almost always in traditional forum.
See you around

Im in.
I have started to be very interested in the peanut pattern because of jackknife but also the others that state they like it a lot. I have started to downsize the last years so It doesent strike me as to small any longer. And Case is my favorit brand Ive tried when it comes to slipjoints.

Hi, I am not a regular in this subforum, but I've done some reading on it and I've read nothing but good things about the so called Peanut. What has impressed me the most is the great feats that have been achieved with such knife! (chopping down trees... building forts.... whittling full size canoes out of threes... etc) haha

Thanks for the chance.

Im in, great Giveaway prize! I'm usually lurking on the traditionals subforum and don't post as much as I should. I like traditionals because each one has a unique character and soul to it. The regular production knives all look the same as the next. I have nothing against them, I love spyderco, but you can only have so many one-hand opening, pocket clipped knives till you want to move to bigger and sometimes better things.

I really like traditional knives because for one, I dont have one. Second, I think they are pretty cool because they give a traditional look and feel. Plus they just look bad ass ;P Thanks for the entry!
