First GA!!! Pocket worn Case Peanut Winner Announced Post on #88

I'm in, please. I have some modern knives but the traditionals remind me of the knives
my Dad and uncles carried in the late 50s and early 60s.

Also, I love the traditionals like the GEC Gepetto and Queen Oar Carver for whittling.

Thanks,

Prijon

I'm in, I like traditionals for their classic appeal, high quality, and lack of sheeple-scaring ablilities.

Thanks for the chance and good luck with your new job,
Connor

I would love a PW Peanut. Case is one of my favorites.
Thanks for the chance.

A few of the reasons I like traditional folders is that 1.) a lot of the designs incorporate multiple blades which is extremely useful to me in EDC. 2.) a lot of builders use natural materials for handles like bone, wood, stag antler, mother of pearl, etc. which to me brings a "warmth" to an otherwise cold tool (not sure if I'm really verbalizing correctly what I'm trying to say here) 3.) Visually, most traditionals are stunning and I think the simplicity is beautiful. 4.) I am getting older, and I'm finding myself attracted to more simplistic, natural, and useful blades rather than tacticool.

Thanks for the opportunity to win, and good luck to everyone.

I got in early, and since you're allowing us traditional regular posters a second entry, I'll get in late also.

I love my peanut, so thanks again for the chance!

Thanks for the GA. I have always been a big fan of traditional slipjoints. 99% of my cutting tasks that I do can be done with a slipjoint. Ever since my father gave me my first SAK when I entered into the scouts I was hooked. A lot of craftsmanship is put into Case knives and the ability to almost customize every part of your knife by selecting what color of handle you want along with what type of blades, number of blades, etc. For me nowadays it is more about the feeling I get when I use my old cv bladed mini trapper. My grandfather always carried one around the farm teaching my father about the importance of a knife. My father passed that knowledge down to me and I can feel the tradition so to speek every time I use my mini trapper. Thanks again for the GA. Take care.

I spend most of my time here in the traditional section so I will go ahead and put myself in twice. Thanks again for the chance.

I don't have a lot of posts in any particular forum so I'll tell you what interests me in traditional knives. To me it's all about the numerous patterns available. I have trappers, peanuts, sodbusters, sodbuster like knives, and stockman. I also have some assisted opening knives, lockbacks and custom folders and fixed blades.

I appreciate the chance to add a fine looking peanut to my growing collection. Wishing you the best in your new job.

Thanks,
Mark

I'll take a chance on this one. Traditionals remind me of when I was younger. They bring back alot of memories.

Thanks for the opportunity.

hey im not a regular but i can tell you that i am in! and i can also tell you that what interests me most in traditional knives is the get away from the modern world. just like throwback pepsi made with real sugar, or wearing rayban wayfer glasses. This knife represents a time where people took pride in their work, and gave you the best they can! thanks alot!

Where I live, it's still the 7th! :D I'm not a regular, so here's why I like traditional knives: there's a classiness about them that comes from their rich history. They capture a piece of historic America and evoke thoughts of that period so well. They're also good lookers!

Im new here, but traditionals are part of my heritage. I particularly like that a Peanut does not scare sheeple.
