I'm awe struck. Honestly. I cannot thank Rob enough! He could have just ignored me. Very busy guy but he made it a point to respond either way. Im humble and gracious for this chance to recieve and buy my grail. Although not a slicer. I believe the XM-18 3.5" Spanto will serve me well. (Gray scales) I work in an old building with bad electrical. So, you never know. Had a fire drill the other day. If one happens, we have to unzip all these little bags hanging on each machine. Twenty machines. Twenty patients usually. 5-6 staff. Hmm What would win in case of a flash fire? All those bagged, cheap scissors or my new XM-18?

Thanks again Rob, Rick and Rubi. (Awesome guy. With a lifetime and wealth of knowkedge)

I had a feeling that things would work out for you! I used to just have slicers and now I just have a 3.5" spanto. It's the all-around iconic RHK grind and appropo for your first! And 3.5" is the perfect all-around size (I'm a 3" convert!). So you are getting THE classic RHK knife. CONGRATS!!!!!!

Thanks guys! Excited. Never really thought I'd be posting in here. Let alone this thread.

congrats! post some pics of it when it comes in. I'm still waiting to find a 3.5, but like others have said, the 3.5 spanto is just your classic hinderer, can't go wrong

Congrats that your Grail is on the way. The 3.5" Spanto is I believe the best Hinderer XM out there. Its the best all around size and the Spanto blade is PURE Hinderer XM.

^^ Thanks guys! Wouldn't polished blue screws, stand offs, and a heat treated clip look awesome with the gray scale? Even a blue black scale!

Congrats.

I was unaware you were without an XM, very glad to see good fortune find you.

Yes you are indeed Hinderer bitten! Okay this normal do not panic, breathe slowly, close your eyes and picture yourself on a beach with the waves slowly breaking on the white sand.

Welcome to the addiction!

I have no "hint" outside of the obvious of watching the HUH thread, and the Hinderer Webstore for updates. Then there's the exchange and so on...

If you are like so many of us, you will certainly enjoy personalizing the XM and changing looks from time to time.

Congratulations!!!
I love my 24, Yours should look just like it: ;)

Gray & blue would be sweet! Like a rebel XM! :)

I am planning on getting some blue standoffs for my blue-black...may have to throw in a gray scale too as a change up spare!! :)
