Seems like all the superlatives are used so to repeat, this is just a stunning piece in all respects including the sheath but that butt cap is just genius.
One of those ground breaking ideas.. Never even occurred to me to treat a butt cap that way..
 
Great job, it turned out beautifully. I would have liked a little bit of integral finger guard but I love the shape you gave this blade. Great damascus, great stag and the buttcap adds a lot of flair. :thumbup:

That is an exquisite knife in every aspect! As a rookie I find it all very overwhelming creating a complete package like that!

I coulden't appreciate the damascus before seeing the close up photo, then it struck me!

Awesome in every respect!
