First it was MT and now the Chinese.(Fake 0777)

On the topic of this thread, I have seen some pretty amazingly detailed fakes in China. They learn quickly. What's lacking in most cases is material quality, heat treat, etc.

It is a shame to see, but not surprising.

That is great to hear! I love my ZTs and I would love to add a 777 to the collection.

I think ZT offers the best value of any company in the knife industry so I hope this knife will be a huge success so we will see many more great knives from ZT.

And hey, if that doesnt work out they still have the week, month and year to fall back on, lol. In all fairness though, I know many feel that the 0777 is taking too long. And maybe it has. But Id rather have it done right then rushed. And many ask why it takes so long when MT made a copy in no time. But they forget MT's version was a much simpler design. I do wish however that kershaw would wait to announce a product when they are closer to getting them made. But I understand wanting to gauge interest before committing to a huge run of knives.
 
Thats just not right. Anyone who would be serious about buying a 0777 wouldnt touch it but that doesnt make it an acceptable practice.

Same ones who buy the Fake Chris Reeves, Striders, Hinderers etc etc...and they never go away no matter how many times you report it... I've reported a Seller at least 20+ times for selling fake Sebenzas and never got taken down....I've found a Fake ZT9 before too just sick

Where do these sellers of fake knives do their business ? Ebay ? Do they say "fake" ? I despise any kind of fake or knock-off.
 
They Don't Say Fake or that it is a Copy of a Hinderer or Chris Reeve but they will have there logos on them...Mostly EvilBay, but they're on other sites as Well.
 
I really wish zt would make a mid-tech version of f their own design. There is enough desire. Use solid s30v, slightly lower finish cf and maybe a smaller blade and sell it for a couple to 300 and make a killing. The full sized version would still be exclusive but more return on the design investment.
