Sorry for bringing this post up again but what makes anyone think these are CHINESE fakes? This is a copy made by a russian knife maker that's how i understand it. I bet the quality is decent and has nothing in common with cheap china knockoffs.

I think you're missing the fact that it's a KNOCKOFF.

That 560 copy has a liner lock, FRN handle scales, and a 56HRC 5Cr13MoV blade. Not even worth its price.

The Chinese don't bother copying anything that doesn't have a high unmet demand. Rick Hinderer has the right idea about how to combat this sort of thing.

The knives are made in China, and Russia is their number 1 market for the counterfeit knives, perhaps due to the lack of availability in Russia of the real thing.
