it would be difficult to keep such a heavy object from slipping down the calf and dragging on the floor. i havent had any really good experiences with calf sheaths, other then with very small edc sized blades.

you can do it on the sides of your hips, but the pants to really puff out in the same way there. it feels like its stretching your waist band a lot tighter when you have it on your thigh, as apposed to your stomach.

Its also much, much more noticable. when its on your stomach, you can add an extra 6" of girth and most people just think your stomach is large. on the hip, its immediately recognizable as being "not right".
