Well this is the first one finished in 04. The OAL 13 w/ 7 3/4" blade.
The steel is 1532 layers of 1080 & 15n20 with a little 1095 thrown in along the way. The Guard, spacers and pommel are made a billet that contained 2 low layered billets that were reverse twisted and then rewelded. The handle is ebony with over 75 N/S pins each side.

Sorry for the poor pictures, santa didn't bring me that new camera.

You done good Bill!!! Love the way it all flows together. Not to mention the mind blowing pattern. Congrats on a job well done.

For some reason I could view this piece of art. If I was in to collecting knives I would like to have this one!

Bill,
:D:D:D

I can tell, this is the year of the Buxton!

Great Blade - Really makes be want to reach out and grab it.

First blade of the year? You are suppose to work your way to perfection, not start with it! Good luck trying to top that one...

Amazing Bill. I think I'm gonna take up model railroading or something. ;)

It's always a pleasure and inspiration to see your work.

Bill, you just gotta quit that! Every time I see one of your knives, I feel more like a Newbie! Beautiful knife, Bill! Heck of a fine way to start the new year. I have to agree, when one sees that picture, we just want to reach and pick it up! Thanks for posting the knife, too.

holy moses, thanks everyone for the great compliments. They are a super ego booster and make me want to get started on another right away. This knife has great feel and balance and I sure wish my photograpy skills didn't suck so bad. Believe me this pattern looks really cool up close.

Thank You

Bill

Gorgeous knife Bill!!
I really love the pin work in the handle!
I never think to add that to my knives but am definitely going to in the future
