Very nice bit of work. I like the scales you chose.

Just remember, when your plunge line breaks through the spine of the blade, you can recover it by sanding down the tang if you haven't gone too deep. Looking at your blade, I think you could have fixed that, and it would have helped lighten the finished product.

Yeah I know that was one mistake I made, I plan on fixing that for the next one.

I don't know who thought that fire steel is rediculously large but I think it's perfect! Those "regular" size ones feel like I'm trying to strike a toothpick with a sword sometimes. Love it!
