 that 18 is pretty vicious looking, can we get any details? I'm guessing it's going to be a thin, machete style blade as opposed to something more sword-like?

Very cool! Have you decided on the steel for these?
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Glad to see these added to the Kershaw line, they look great. The 18 will satisfy my need for a good machete, the $5 hardware store machetes just arent cutting it.

Dang, something that awesome looking needs something better than MN65.

I totally agree, 1095 would be sweet, or D2 like the Outcast.

Wonder how thick the 14 will be. I have been wanting a heavy chopper a little longer than my outcast.

I like the concept, especially the lightening holes onthe spine of the 18... But I'd be concerned that the long thin tip will be very short or this world, Something a little blunter, more like the 10, would probably prove more durable since these knives are clearly going to be used as machetes more than for filleting fish...

The 14 is the shape I ike least, and the one I want to like most... As I think it'd be the best compromise size.

And I would way rather pay a reasonable premium for good steel than have it in something like 1065... I already have a perfectly "functional", issue army sruplus machete in plain carbon steel for $20 or less... Give me a reason to "need" this. Give me something "more"... Maybe 3V is overkill, or maybe its just perfect.... :D
