First Look! Kershaw Dimension!

OK, take the word titanium off the handle. Then the early ones will be collector items.

Makes sense to me.

I like it! I'll take 2! :D
I'm not opposed in any way to a great budget folder, especially from Kershaw. The true test will come when it's in my hand. Beautiful knife. Thanks for the pics chester

I will have to add this to the China-made section of my Kershaw collection just because it is just different enough. The "titanium" on the handle doesn't totally kill it for me, though it could be better as just "Ti" (like the "Ti/ATS34" on the old high-tech series knife blades).

I like it. I'm a big fan of seeing higher end materials in the budget line up. It's also good to see Kershaw doing some experimentation in the lock arena rather than just another liner or frame lock. I like the button lock, so this one is on my must have list.

I am curious to see how the button system works, if this one does well I wonder if we might get some new USA models with a button?

I am excited about this one. I like the button lock on my Hogue. Nice to see titanium in a budget folder as well. Thanks Chet!

Overall I'm liking the knife design but also think it could just say "Ti" on the handle. The fact it's made in China ruins it for me.

Didn't the Titanium-handled Talons have "Titanium" on the handles? Sort of rings a bell. Thought it was cool back then, and find it fine on this one. I like the incused look rather than the laser-etched of old days.

I'm in for one.

A bit strange to find titanium scales on a Chinese-made knife (usually regarded as the more budget-friendly lines). Perhaps this is a venture to see if there is potential for off-shore productions to handle some higher end materials and more complicated designs? The knife itself looks pretty interesting. I like the shape, although I could have done without the zig-zag lines and the word "titanium" engraved in the scales.

This one has certainly piqued my curiosity. Ti scales and button lock in a Chinese-made knife... Will wait to see what street price for this turns out to be. May have to pick up one of these as well. I wonder if the ti scales will respond to heat anodizing... That could be interesting too.

Not my vid... but from a BF dealer... from SHOT show

100.00 is usually what top USA model Kershaws go for so IDK 100.00 for 8cr13mov :( I get it though get ti for 100.00 is cool

I'm a little surprised that the "first look" knife threads were handled by BF members and not Jimmer or Lynda, considering Thomas is no longer with us :(

You do realise they are super busy with shot don't you? And even that is an understatement. Be happy we were given permission to even post these for you.

I like the stonewash on that one, nice bright scratches rather than the more dull of like the 560/561. Scratches blend in with this type better.

I just personally felt a "first look" thread should be entitled to Kershaw staff to address and not us lay people. Its a matter of prestige. This is their baby and they deserve to post it. You don't work for Kershaw do you?

Besides Blade HQ already have videos posted on all new Kershaw/ZT knives at Shot.
