First Look - Kershaw Knockout

Still nothing ?
I don't know, maybe I just see too many knives and it hurts my perspective.

The flipper area and front portions of the handle are quite different, the ass ends are dissimilarly shaped. The posture is night and day. Grinds are separated. Bellies are off...

Still nothing ?

The "kinda" not cutting me any slack ? (LOL)

Like the Knockout though. ETA ?

I sort of agree with you. I thought of the Cyclone as well, but more in terms of the class of knife and the material then the actual design itself.

Is it really gonna use the same g10 texture as the echelon? Or is that just the prototype? I like everything except the g10, seems odd that 2 would have the same texture...

I hear ya on seeing too many knives and perspective.

Good looking knife though. ETA ?

It's a similar flow, but not the exact same pattern. BTW, it's aluminum on the Knockout and G-10 on the Echelon.

I have no ETA on the Knockout at this time.

The handle is aluminum.....there is no G-10 on this knife.

I like this one, size is right. Price point will probably be good and I like the blade style. I for one am glad the lockbar is a different color I like the contrast.

Any chance of offering a higher grade blade steel? (ie S30V blur, Composite leek)

There will be a lot of variation with patterns, blade steel, and materials with Sub-Frame locks going forward. Pretty excited about the possibilities with the technology to be honest.

This I like! I like the belly in the blade and the aluminum handle. It is similar to the ZT 0551 and I like that to. I wouldn't think twice about getting one. Sold!

that's pretty snazzy - will be looking forward to seeing this in production.
I really like the thin overall profile.
will there be a way to disable the A/O? (I know, heresy - but a workplace reality for me)

Thomas, this one is a winner so far.

I know KAI is noted for their fine and reliable A/O's but maybe you could offer this knife both with A/O and manual or at least add the ball detent for the mod

Looks like a Lahar with better lock and no recurve, very nice design.

Price is a little too high for 14C28N, let's see the final street price :)

I thought I was pretty much done with folders aside from 1 or two, but I really like the look of this.

Thats a great way to do a framelock hybrid thingymajig. :)

All the penefits of a frame lock and a liner lock's grip. I'm absolutely buying one if these come out like that!

Oh man, a lanyard hole with a lowrider clip to boot. Great design!

And 14c28 is a pretty great steel,, honestly I think a lot of people just mix up names between other steels, call it Triflexium and I bet people wouldn't belly ache as much. Performance wise from my use this stuff is great.
